In 2019, Yulin Co., Ltd. organized a specialized agricultural study tour in Japan for professors from Zhejiang University and representatives of agricultural enterprises from Zhejiang Province. The program focused on examining Japan’s high-quality citrus industry development model and advanced agricultural management practices.
During the visit, the delegation toured renowned citrus-producing regions in Japan and visited plantations and related agricultural organizations associated with the premium citrus brand “Beni Madonna.” Participants gained in-depth knowledge of advanced practices in variety development, orchard management, quality control, brand operation, marketing, and agricultural value chain development.
At the same time, Zhejiang University experts engaged in extensive discussions with Japanese agricultural professionals on topics including new variety development, agricultural technological innovation, agricultural product branding, and modern agricultural management models. Representatives from participating agricultural enterprises also studied Japan’s successful approaches to precision cultivation management, value-added agricultural products, and agricultural brand development.
This study tour effectively promoted exchanges and cooperation between China and Japan in the agricultural sector, providing valuable insights for the commercialization of agricultural research achievements, the development of specialty agricultural industries, and innovation in modern agricultural management models. The program received high praise from both the academic experts and business representatives who participated.
